Land Ho!263 viewsLocated in Battles Point Development(?) While looking for a cache stumbled across this boat that had been dumped, for lack of a better word. The bay would be just over 2 miles due west from this spot, so a bit of a suprise.

Next Oil change222 viewsHere's the magnetic oil plug after 7360 miles. This is not wiped off. Note the oil still on the threads. The magnet at the end was coated with a fine grit. I had to rub it off with the blue shop towel to remove. I'm using synthetic oil; I find it hard to believe that it would have anything that would be attracted to a magnet. As for the filter, no ferrous materials that I can tell. I'm convinced this is from ferrous parts in the engine.

There's comparisons in the next two photographs.

oil used: 5w30 Mobil1 synthetic extended wear
